Q Assignment Prompt Your final project involves the presentation to the board members of your healthcare organization regarding the water crisis in Flint. Your presentation should be sure to include answers to the following questions: What are the normal sources and amounts of lead that are considered safe? What caused excess lead to end up in the drinking water? What is the significance to health of too much lead? Is there a specific group (children, the elderly, pregnant women …) that is more severely affected by lead? What are the symptoms our health centers should watch out for and/or tests we need to conduct? What are the solutions to this problem being considered in Flint, and what are some benefits and drawbacks of each? What recommendation(s) for a solution would you propose? Hopefully you have been thinking about this for the last month as we have touched on several other topics regarding the environment, toxicity, and health. For this week, you will submit an outline of the presentation you plan on making. Include a short version (3-5 bullet points or a paragraph) for the answer to each of the questions above. That is what you will be turning into a recorded presentation for next week.
